Wow! I went to Kooza las night in Toronto. This is one of the Cirque du Soleil shows that is currently touring.
I laughed. I sat in amazement. And I was fully entertained for what felt like 20 minutes.. but it was almost 3 hours. Simply amazing. The death defying acts were thrilling on their own and then the performers played it up even more with make believe slips. My wife couldn’t even watch at one point. This is a definite must-see.
Just a few notes - the concessions are a rip off - $6.00 for popcorn and $4.00 for a bottle of water, as example. The parking is $15.00. And if you get a popcorn make sure you eat it before you’re under the big top at your seat. The clowns have a habit of going into the audience and stealing a patron’s popcorn to dump it in the audience. That’s funny when it’s somebody else’s popcorn, not when it’s yours.

Last night we went to see a play called Jupiter in July. It was put on by the Milton Players. One of Keri’s best friends is in the play. Her friend, Sharon Steves, was amazing.

I am helping a co-worker, Milan, from Slovakia relaize one of his dreams. He has been in Canada for almost two years but has never been to an NHL hockey game. We’ve been talking for about a month about going. So last week we purchased tickets off of Stub Hub. The tickets for two cost about $500 CDN. The regular cost are approximately $100 each (after tax). That means that we paid about 2.5 times the amount. But we didn’t care since for Milan it is going to be a memorable time.
When I bought the tickets online I got them sent to our work. The tickets came in yesterday. Here’s me with Milan.

Today I started by 4-day 1-Month PMP Prep Course. There will be fourfull-day classes for the 4 Wednesdays of February. The course is given by Cindy Bell from
PM Star. The first class was excellent. Cindy has a great way of making everybody in the class feel very comfortable.
She made a point of making sure that we organize ourselves to write the exam within 90 days. At the moment my exam date is tentatively set for March 20. I need to do the application and put a study plan together to see what the most realistic date is but that is the date I am aiming.

I have to start cooking more during the week. So on this Monday I made crispy chicken recipe from the Fine Cooking Magazine. This turned out really good. I burnt the breadcrums a bit but the taste was still excellent.
