How We Met  | The Proposal | Meet Keri and Patrick

I was born and raised in Oshawa, ON. After highschool, I went to Brock University then moved to Banff for a year. Finally, I returned to Ontario and settled down in Toronto. I got a job, courtesy of my Aunt Joanne, in the financial industry and have never looked back. I recently returned to Brock to complete my degree in Adult Education.

My real happiness in life comes from spending time with my family and friends, playing baseball at the island on Thursday nights, and, of course, spending time with Patrick and our dog, Wilson.

If there was one song I would pick to sum up my approach to life if it would be "We're here for a good time" by Trooper.

"Said, we're here for a good time not a long time so have a good time, the sun can't shine every day"

I was raised on the South Shore of Montréal in Longueuil, QC. In 1992 I graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Sciene with a major in Applied Mathematics. In 1995, I moved to Toronto. Then in 1998 I spent a year in Australia traveling and working. After coming back to Toronto I met Keri..

I'm very happy that Keri and I have bought a house and are now getting married so that we can start a family together. I am looking forward to having children with Keri. Of course I love spending time with Keri and our dog, Wilson. It's also nice having my dad in our house with his basement apartment and spending holidays with Keri's family.

The song I enjoy the most is "I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)" from The Proclaimers.

This stanza from the song sums up how I feel about Keri -

When I'm lonely, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man whose lonely without you.
And when I'm dreaming, well I know I'm gonna dream,
I'm gonna dream about the time when I'm with you.

It seems a bit corny, but that's how I feel.
