Every year Keri makes this great Xmas Breakfast Casserole. She perpares it the night before and lets it sit in the fridge overnight. Then every Xmas morning she cooks it and let’s those amazing tastes fill the house.
I made these as a Xmas morning delicacy/dessert. When I took out the puff pastry I didn’t really understand how it needs to be worked with, so the apple turnovers were a bit hard.
I’m from Québec so growing up we always had tourtière at Christmas. Two years ago my wife and I started a tradition of having tourtière on Christmas eve with my dad at midnight. This year we made the tourtière from a recipe from my wife’s Aunt Carole (she’s from Québec as well).
This Xmas we everybody got a ton of presents. Some of the notable gifts were:

At work today we did a secret santa. The idea was the we buy a toy for a co-worker that we feel best represents that person. Then all the toys are given to charity. Each person drew a name at random and had to buy a gift under $20.
